Partner and business contact data

Nick Long trading as Born Global Marketing uses limited business contact information to receive, assess and administer an Orca Group Series partnership enquiry.

Controller and contact

The controller is Nick Long trading as Born Global Marketing, Ballinlammy, Mullinavat, County Kilkenny, Ireland. Email: nick@orcaie.com. Born Global Marketing is registered in Ireland's Register of Business Names under number 523899. It is not currently registered for Irish VAT; this page does not charge or collect VAT.

What is collected

For an enquiry, we collect the business name, website, country, contact name, business email, selected partnership lane, proposed fit and campaign reference. The page loads Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the form. Turnstile processes browser, device and request-environment signals, including IP-derived and browser characteristics, to distinguish people from automated abuse. Payment details are not collected through the enquiry form.

Why it is used and the legal basis

We use the information to respond to an enquiry, assess fit and conflicts, protect the form against abuse, and, only if both sides later agree, prepare necessary business records. The legal basis is our legitimate interests in operating a secure, relevant business-enquiry channel and preventing fraud or abuse. Where an accepted arrangement requires pre-contract steps or a contract, processing is also necessary for those steps or that contract. An enquiry does not subscribe a business or person to marketing. We do not sell this data or promise third parties access to it.

Who processes the data and international transfers

Cloudflare hosts the page, provides Turnstile and stores the enquiry record. If you email Nick, Google Workspace processes that email. If an arrangement is later accepted, payment may be handled by the agreed payment provider or bank under the written order; it is not handled by this enquiry form. Providers may process data outside the EEA. Where a transfer is not covered by an adequacy decision, the controller relies on the provider's applicable European Commission standard contractual clauses and supplementary safeguards where required. To obtain information about, or a copy of, the safeguards applicable to your enquiry, email nick@orcaie.com; any copy is subject only to lawful redaction of confidential material.

Retention and whether fields are required

An unsuccessful enquiry is permanently deleted from the enquiry database 365 days after submission by a scheduled retention process, unless a legal claim, legal retention duty or documented dispute requires it to be kept longer. Accepted orders and invoices may be kept for the period required by Irish law. Business name, contact name, business email, country, website, partnership lane and a fit note are required to assess and reply to the enquiry; without them, the form cannot be submitted. Access is limited to people administering the programme and service providers needed to host, secure and process it.

Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to processing based on legitimate interests by emailing nick@orcaie.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission. The programme does not use this enquiry for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
